-
Question of the Day
A new three-part IB Maths question each day. Students tap an answer and see straight away if it is right, with a hint if not.
-
Exam countdown
Days to the next IB Maths paper, from dates confirmed on the IB's own timetable, with a link to a free final revision checklist.
-
Graphing calculator
A blank Grapher students can type into. To embed a graph you have drawn, open it in the Grapher and choose Export, then Embed.
-
Maths calculators that show the working
13 free maths tools: change a number and the answer, the working and the graph update.
-
Formula cards
39 cards, each linking to its formula page with the meaning of each letter and a worked example. A picture, so it works even where iframes are switched off.
How to add a widget
- Google Sites: choose Insert, then Embed, then the Embed code tab, and paste the code.
- Canvas: edit the page, open the HTML editor in the Rich Content Editor, paste the code where you want the widget and save.
- Moodle: in the text editor, switch to the HTML source view and paste the code. If the widget does not show, ask your Moodle administrator whether embedded content (iframes) is allowed.
- ManageBac, Toddle and other school platforms: paste the code wherever the editor accepts HTML or embedded content. Where iframes are switched off, use a formula card (a picture) or share the link under the widget.
- WordPress and most website builders: add a Custom HTML (or Embed code) block and paste the code.
Every tool page also has a small Embed button with its code, next to the tool.
Questions
Are the widgets free?
Yes. Every widget on this page is free for schools, teachers and students, with no sign-up. Please keep the short credit link under each one.
Do the widgets use cookies or track students?
No. The widget pages load only the tool itself: no sign-in, no analytics, no adverts and no cookies. Nothing a student types is sent anywhere.
Will it work in Google Sites, Canvas, Moodle, ManageBac or Toddle?
It works anywhere that lets you add embedded HTML (an iframe). Google Sites, Canvas and Moodle normally do; some school platforms switch iframes off. If yours does, share the link to the tool instead.
Can I change the size?
Yes. The width fills the space it is given, up to a sensible maximum. Change the height number in the code if you want it taller or shorter.
