What €100 buys you
A practising IB examiner (that's me) personally reads your IA draft. Not skims — reads, with the descriptor sheet open. Then writes you roughly 800 words of criterion-by-criterion feedback with specific paragraph references. Then meets you on Zoom for 20 minutes to walk through the top three changes.
Turnaround: 3–5 working days from upload to written feedback. The Zoom is booked separately at your convenience within 14 days of the written report landing.
Why not just use the €5 AI version?
The AI is very good — it's trained on my own rubric and the official IB descriptors, and I use it myself when I'm marking at speed. But there are three specific things a human still does better:
- Judging tone and narrative flow. Whether your personal engagement reads as genuine or manufactured is a human judgement the AI still gets wrong about 20% of the time.
- Recognising when you're solving the wrong problem. Sometimes an IA has beautiful maths but is answering a question that isn't quite the one it set out to answer. Humans spot that faster.
- Answering "but what should I do?" live. Written feedback tells you what's weak. A 20-minute Zoom lets you ask "yes but WHICH of these three rewrites should I do first if I've only got two weekends left?" and get a genuine answer.
Who this is for
Students in the final six weeks before their IA is submitted, whose current internal school feedback is either late-arriving or inconsistent. Also students whose predicted grade is one band below their offer requirement — the IA is the highest-leverage thing you can still change.
Who it isn't for
If your IA is at 40% completion, save your €100 — get the structure right first with the AI tool, then book the human review closer to submission.
Class-code option
Schools can bulk-buy this tier at a discount and give students a class code to redeem. That's the sensible route if you're a Head of Maths wanting to guarantee your DP2 cohort gets external feedback before submission.
Academic honesty — same rules as the AI tier
The review is guidance. You own your submission. I don't rewrite paragraphs for you — I tell you which paragraphs to rewrite. That's the ethical line and the professional one.
