Personalised, exam-focused Edexcel A-Level Maths that lifts every student's grade.

alevelmathrevision.com is the A-Level sibling of ibmathrevision.com — built and taught by Pete Bromfield to give Edexcel students (both UK 9MA0 and International IAL) something question banks alone don't: targeted, examiner-informed practice on the exact topics they need to master.

Pete Bromfield

Director of Studies & Enrichment at an IB Continuum School in Europe. Former Head of Maths, former Head of Sixth Form at two schools, and a serving examiner. Over a decade of leadership across UK A-Level, IAL and IB Diploma courses.

Pete has coached students across every Edexcel A-Level pathway — Pure, Statistics, Mechanics, and IAL Papers P1–P4 — through their final exams. His approach blends rigorous exam preparation with the personalised diagnostic work students need to move from a C to an A*.

Every practice question, mark scheme and worked answer on this site is written by Pete or reviewed line-by-line before it reaches you.

"Every A-Level student has the potential to succeed. Our job is to remove the guesswork — a variety of exam-style questions, examiner mark schemes, and targeted diagnostics that show each student exactly where their next mark lives. When the practice looks like the exam, the exam stops being scary."

What we believe about A-Level Maths revision

Three convictions shape every question, mark scheme and rubric on this site.

Exam-style, not textbook-style

Every question mirrors real Edexcel command words, mark allocations and setter style. Students who train on realistic questions perform better on the day.

Method marks matter

Our mark schemes credit method marks explicitly, so students learn where their working earns marks even when the final answer isn't perfect.

Progress data beats gut feeling

Streaks, revealed-scheme counts and Path-to-A* ticks tell students what still needs work — instead of "I feel weaker on integration."
