I am writing to let you know that your child has been identified as one of a small number of students for whom we need to update their CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test) data. As a result, they will be taking the CAT4 test next week.

There is no need for your child to prepare for the test, and they should not become anxious about it. As with our standardised testing, the test is taken in digital format, so students must bring their fully charged school device, a charger and a set of headphones, as is the usual daily requirement. They are asked to bring a book to read in case they finish early.

• Students should attend VT as usual to register, and then make their way to Room 216 for the test.
